Warranty – MW DESIGNER FURNITURE
a) Duration of Warranty
MW DESIGNER FURNITURE, the manufacturer of KUUMO DESIGN furniture, provides a warranty against manufacturing and material defects on its products for a period of 5 years, starting from the date of purchase by the customer.

In case of a defect occurring during this period due to a manufacturing or material issue, please contact KUUMO DESIGN customer service. If the defect is confirmed and covered by the warranty, KUUMO DESIGN commits to repair or replace the product, according to the terms mentioned below, provided that the furniture has been used according to the instructions in the manual and handled according to the guidelines in this notice.

b) Conditions of Application
The warranty applies only if the original purchase invoice or receipt (showing the purchase date and the name of the retailer) is sent to MW DESIGNER FURNITURE. MW DESIGNER FURNITURE reserves the right to refuse the warranty if these documents cannot be provided.

c) Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not apply in the following cases (non-exhaustive list):

  • Periodic maintenance, replacement, or repairs resulting from normal wear and tear.
  • Damage caused by improper handling.
  • Failure to maintain or use unsuitable products.
  • Modification or adaptation of the furniture without prior written approval from MW DESIGNER FURNITURE.
  • Transport costs and risks associated with the shipping of the product under warranty.
  • Customization of the furniture with materials or products not provided by KUUMO DESIGN.
  • Non-compliance with recommendations, including:
    • Using the product for purposes other than those intended.
    • Failure to comply with the technical and safety standards in force in the country of use.
    • Incorrect or unsuitable installation.
    • Repairs carried out by individuals not authorized by MW DESIGNER FURNITURE.
    • Damage resulting from force majeure or an external event (as defined by law).

This warranty does not affect the customer's legal rights under the applicable national legislation or the rights arising from the purchase contract between the customer and the supplier.

NO CLAIM WILL BE ACCEPTED IF THE CONDITIONS BELOW ARE NOT MET.

d) Warranty Procedure
In case of an issue with a KUUMO DESIGN product, the customer must provide:

  • The purchase invoice
  • Photos of the product in use
  • A close-up of the reported issue

If the defect is not visible in the photos, the customer must return the product at their own expense to the following address:

Once the defect is confirmed, MW DESIGNER FURNITURE will send a replacement product. Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer.

If immediate replacement is not possible, MW DESIGNER FURNITURE will commit to providing a replacement date or offering an equivalent model.

Claims and Returns
Any claim must be validated in writing by MW DESIGNER FURNITURE before any return.

MW DESIGNER FURNITURE will determine whether the product should be repaired or replaced, and the customer must facilitate the inspection of the product to allow the warranty to be applied.
