The KUUMO Design range stands out for its innovative materials: transparent tempered glass panels, colored "securit" glass, or Altuglas, combined with cushions in HR40, HR30, or alveolar foam for outdoor use, as well as TPU, available in a multitude of colors. For an even more classic comfort, options in foam covered with customizable fabric are also available.
The KUUMO Design concept doesn’t stop there. The panels can be engraved, sandblasted, or printed with patterns, logos, or even adorned with sumptuous inlays such as gold leaf or real feathers. Every detail is designed to meet your desires and bring to life a unique piece of furniture that is both functional and artistic.

SEATING IN FOAM OR TPU
The cushions become an expression of your style with materials such as foam or TPU, offering tailor-made comfort. Wrap them in sumptuous fabrics, rich leathers, and decide on the level of coverage, whether with subtle touches or full immersion.
Create a designer seat with TPU* cushions available in six colors (transparent, blue, smoked black, pink, orange, and green) or opt for a more traditional seat with outdoor alveolar foam cushions or indoor HR40 and HR30 foam cushions, hypoallergenic and antibacterial, covered with the fabric of your choice!
TPU cushions are available bare or partially covered with fabric, while foam cushions are fully covered with fabric.
*Free of chlorine, TPU is odorless even in high temperatures, unlike PVC, for example. Under direct sunlight, its surface remains cool to the touch and it is highly resistant to UV rays. Ultra-durable, TPU absorbs shocks and offers enhanced long-term stability.

TPU Seating: The Perfect Fusion of Comfort and Aesthetics!
TPU, or Thermoplastic Polyurethane, is a versatile material with numerous technical qualities, combining comfort, durability, and eco-responsibility:
- Flexibility and elasticity: TPU stands out for its high flexibility and elasticity. It can be stretched significantly and return to its original shape without deformation, which is crucial for applications requiring resilience and long-lasting performance.
- Resistance to abrasion, tearing, oils, and solvents: This material is extremely resistant to wear, abrasion, and tearing. It is also resistant to oils, greases, and many solvents.
- Transparency and color possibilities: TPU can be manufactured to be transparent or tinted in various colors, offering both aesthetic and functional options for our indoor and outdoor products.
- Wide operating temperature range: TPU retains its properties over a broad range of temperatures, making it ideal for use in both very cold and very hot environments. This feature is especially important when using your MW furniture outdoors!
- Shock absorption properties: Its ability to absorb shocks and provide perfect seating comfort makes it ideal for our armchairs and sofas.
- Compatibility with various molding techniques: TPU can be processed and molded using different techniques, including injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding, making it adaptable to a wide range of shapes and product sizes.

It is possible to request the creation of sleeves or covers with the fabric of your choice. We have sleeves and cushion covers for our armchairs in stock, available in 12 different fabric models.
LEOBERT-SOSHAGRO (5 colors available): Vegan and fire-retardant, Soshagro covers are also highly durable and easy to maintain.
RUNNER-GABRIEL (7 colors available): With its semi-transparent quality and 3D effect, Runner is a highly visual and eye-catching fabric. Certified with the EU Ecolabel and treated against UV rays, Gabriel's Runner fabrics are fire-retardant and easy to maintain (machine washable at 40°C).

Altuglas Armrests, IN&OUTDOOR
With an unmatched transparency of 92% and easy maintenance, Altuglas is also ultra-resistant to impacts, UV-stable (with a 30-year UV guarantee), and four times lighter than glass, making it easily movable, especially outdoors, between a terrace and a shaded garden area.
You can choose your Altuglas armrests in transparent or subtly tinted finishes, with the option to incorporate gold leaf or real feathers.
Altuglas can be repolished after several years to restore its original appearance. Its fire resistance is moderate (M4), but it has the advantage of producing very little smoke and no toxic substances, unlike other materials with higher classifications.
Finally, Altuglas is recyclable and offers another significant benefit: it can be reused, aligning with a sustainable approach.

Altuglas, or polymethyl methacrylate, is a transparent material often used as an alternative to glass, offering several notable technical advantages:
- Exceptional transparency: Altuglas stands out for its crystal-clear clarity. It transmits up to 92% of visible light, more than glass, making it ideal for applications where transparency is essential, such as display cases, windshields, or aquariums.
- Customization: The option to sandblast the panels with the pattern of your choice.
- Lightweight: Compared to glass, Altuglas is much lighter, making it easier to transport and install. This lightweight feature also makes it advantageous for applications where weight is a critical factor, such as in automotive or aerospace industries.
- Impact resistance: Altuglas has a much higher impact resistance than glass. It does not shatter into sharp fragments, making it safer for public and residential applications.
- Durability and weather resistance: Altuglas is UV-resistant and does not yellow over time, making it ideal for outdoor use. It is also resistant to most acids, bases, and various chemicals.
- Ease of shaping and processing: Unlike glass, Altuglas can be easily cut, drilled, polished, and even bent either hot or cold, offering great flexibility in product design and manufacturing.
- Recyclability: Altuglas is a recyclable material, contributing to its environmental durability. Altuglas waste can be collected and processed to create new products.
- Aesthetic & customization: Altuglas can be tinted in a wide range of colors, offering extensive aesthetic possibilities for designers and architects. It can also be embedded with small objects such as gold leaf or, as shown in this example, real feathers.

Glass Armrests for Indoor Use
The glasses are available in clear tempered diamond glass and colored safety glass. They can be individually customized, are all signed, and each has a unique identification number to ensure traceability.
Any customization can be done from the first unit ordered. It is possible to have the glass in various colors, print a pattern on a film and insert it between two glass panels, engrave the glass panels, or engrave and sandblast the glass panels.
